Our favorite Taniwha Tuesdays
As the 2019 is nearing it’s close we thought we would have a look back at some of our favorite Taniwha Tuesdays. For those that don’t know what Taniwha Tuesday is, it’s a feature we run on our Instagram where we feature customers Taniwha. We love it because it allows us to connect with our customers and lets them show their prized bikes off to the whole Zerode audience.
We thought it would be cool to recap on a few of our favorite Taniwha from the year.

There’s no way this Taniwha doesn’t catch your eye. Custom decals that match the brake calipers and a Motion Ride E18 linkage fork. Those with a sharp eye will notice its a Mulét too.

There’s something about seeing a coil in a Taniwha that’s exciting. The Taniwha is designed to work with both a coil and an air shock but seeing the coil in there usually means the rider is going to give it some abuse and ride some rowdy terrain. Enve hoops are also a nice touch.

Some more custom decals, this time Rasta themed, a coil shock and Enve hoops. There’s no doubt this is a killer build. The matching rim to down tube decal is really the icing on the cake.

Clean and simple. Solid suspension, KS carbon bars and the new Pinion DS2 shifter. Not too stealthy, not too loud, this Taniwha is a real looker.

This is one eye catching Taniwha, located all the way over in South Africa. It has been custom painted by @jared_bmc and is kitted out with some serious trail slaying components. It’s cool to see people getting creative with their Taniwha.

Stealthy frames with touches of color here and there really do look great. It’s not often we see an Ohlins shock equipped to a Taniwha either. I can only imagine this would ride beautifully.

Why we like it
This Taniwha would probably take first place. Not only does it have a slick custom paint job and nice component list, it has custom made forks. Chase got a pair of Boxxer stanchions, put them in some 29” DVO lowers and then machined his own crowns for them. Our roots are in tinkering in the workshop making custom parts and bikes, so it's great to see there are still people out there like Chase doing the same thing.
