Meet Chewy and his Katipo

We love to catch up with folks from all over to see what they like about their ride. It is great to know what people like to ride and see how their experience is going. This week we have a champ who lives in Hong Kong and loves to share the stoke of riding bikes with anyone he can.

Meet Steve ‘Chewy’ Gould. He’s an Australian living in Hong Kong and it’s safe to say that he loves his Zerode Katipo! Check out his sweet build and what he likes to get into.

We caught up with Chewy and asked him a couple of simple questions just to see why he loves this bike so much. Hear what he had to say.

ZB: What’s your favorite style of trail?

Chewy: I mostly ride Enduro now as shuttles are hard to come by lately. I come from a DH, BMX and Moto riding background and our local trails are best described as natural gnar. Slippery roots and janky rocks in hard pack. Wet most of the time.

ZB: What’s your favorite thing about your Zerode Katipo?

Chewy: My favourite thing about owning the bike.......there is so many positives but if I had to pick one would be it’s suspension performance. I’m a self confessed suspension nerd so this bike ticks that box and how it rides certainly doesn’t disappoint.
