The Best Bike You'll EVER Own

Zerode Taniwha rear end

Here at Zerode we are dedicated to providing the best riding experience. The benefits of owning any of our bikes are self explanatory once you have one. For those of you who haven’t made the leap yet, here is what you can expect.

To own a Zerode is amazing in many different ways. To keep it simple, today we have broken it into 5 simple things that your zerode will do for you to improve your riding experience.

  1. Low Maintenance

All of our bikes are driven by a Pinion Gearbox. Being a gearbox it is a sealed unit so no grit or moisture gets in or out - which means that wear and tear on it just isn’t a factor. If anything, it actually wears in and becomes more smooth through the gears. No more need to tune that Derailleur because none of our bikes have one! With the gear box you will always be in gear and ready to pedal without that annoying clicking of being slightly out of tune.

2. That Grip!

Having less weight on the back wheel means that the suspension can do its job and its job only, it gives you a smooth ride and keeps your rear wheel on the ground giving you next level traction! Shifting the weight to the center of the bike under your feet also gives you a more stable ride giving you the confidence to go faster!

3. Durability

Less junk in the trunk. No derailleur to hit on what the trail throws at you means you never have to worry about knocking it off. It is plain and simple, if your feet have clearance, then so does your rear end. Again, this means your gears will never come out of tune being in that sealed unit under your feet.

"My Taniwha has had a lot of use. For a couple of years there it was doing an average of 10,000m vert descending a week at the gorge in all weather. I'm willing to bet no other bike would have lasted as well."

~ James Horan

4. Ease of Cleaning

You are going to have approximately 11 less chainrings to clean. All of the moving parts are sealed in the gearbox. Enough said.

5. Save you money!

If you ride a lot, then no doubt you know what we are talking about. Replacing drive trains is costly business when they wear out and then it feels even more costly when that brand new derailleur gets ripped off on its debut ride. No Derailleur, No Worries. Yes, it may cost more up front, but then that is you sorted for years (at least) until you might need to replace a cheap chain ring or two. It’s not uncommon for a Pinion Gearbox to last well over 10,000 miles!

So you either know exactly what we are talking about when we say that our bikes take the work out of mountain biking and leave you just with the best parts. A great bike with low maintenance that is always good to go while your mate is left fiddling around with their gears trying to get that rear cluster married up with their derailleur.

The only question is, will you be the first one of your buddies to get a Zerode or will you be the one with the problems?
